ORDERING PROCESS

Once we have provided you with an approved estimate, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit before commencing with layout and sketches. Payment can be made via Paypal (Visa, MC, Amex), check, or money orders. Once we receive the deposit and we have all your order information, we will provide you with a layout and sketch of your custom sign. This will be provided via e-mail or fax for your approval. This artwork will be produced in black & white, as the more time-consuming work should be concentrated in the final product, not the initial sketch. Through this process we want to make sure you are in the loop at all times and any input or comments are always welcome! You will not be charged for modifications to the sketches, as we want to make sure you will be totally happy with the final design!

Once you have approved the design, your custom chalkboard can take 2-3 weeks to complete after sketch approval (obviously depending on how many I have to do at the time, and whether you have chosen to have your signs framed). Rush orders can also be accommodated to a point*. Please keep in mind in your planning that shipping takes 3-6 business days, depending on the destination. Unframed boards are also a little quicker turn around time!

Once your sign is completed, we will provide a photo via email for your final approval and you will then receive an invoice for the final balance. Shipping (if applicable) will be included in the invoice unless specified other wise**. Shipped boards must be paid in full prior to shipping. A board being delivered in the local area (Vancouver Island) balance is due on delivery. A representative should be available to receive them & oversee any basic installation if necessary. Delivery charges may apply.

* Rush orders paid by check will be required to be paid in full (instead of a deposit first, then final payment before shipment) as time in the mail may delay the shipment. Paypal is an exception as it is instant.
**Governmental duty, taxes, and customs broker fees may apply to all US and international orders and are not always included in our shipping costs. If a 'brokerage fee' amount is not present on your invoice, then you will be billed separately by the customs broker.
