OH NO... IT BROKE!

These are large signs, sometimes traveling great distances at the mercy of the courier company. Every time we put a package on the truck, there is an inherent risk involved. We have sent hundreds of signs via courier and 98% of the time the boards arrive in beautiful condition ready for the wall. BUT... once in a while someone didn't have their morning coffee, and a package gets dropped, or something happens and it doesn't arrive in pristine condition! Then what do you do? We start by insuring every package, and packing them thoroughly. This informations is not designed to scare you, just help you so you know what to do in the event of a crunched box coming to your door!

To avoid any rejected insurance claims, please note any dents, tears or damages on received shipments at the time of signing, and be sure to sign "subject to internal inspection". Internal damages may not be evident, and may NOT be covered unless you note concerns on the waybill when signing for the shipment.

If you open the package and discover that it is in fact damaged. No doubt you will feel frustrated, but try to relax, and call the courier company that delivered it immediately to avoid any delays in filing a claim. The courier may tell you to contact us and get us to file the claim since we are the 'shipper', or you may be able to do it there. They will most likely come to do an inspection report so keep the sign, box and all the packing as you received it. The inspection report will determine whether the shipment/sign needs to be replaced or repaired locally. If the board can be repaired locally (just frame damage), they may ask you for a quote from a local carpenter/woodworker. This is the quickest solution as you will have your sign repaired and up on the wall asap! If it is covered by insurance you will be reimbursed (be sure to keep all paperwork pertaining to the repair). If it requires replacing, then we will be happy to create you a replacement as soon as we know it will be covered. We are not liable to replace a sign that does not get covered by insurance, so it is VERY important to help us with the appropriate steps to getting it dealt with quickly and efficiently. Your cooperation will only expedite the process.

We will be happy to assist in getting the claim in quickly! The last thing we want is for you to be without you sign... and we hate the thought of all our hard work getting broken!
