Chalk It Up Signs gives you everything you love about the look of vintage chalk art without the mess. We produce unique, textured chalk style art that is vibrant and literally lasts a lifetime once it is sealed. Our hand drawn chalk art boards harken back to a time before the digital age and create a warm, easy atmosphere in any establishment.
Framing: For our standard frame we use 3/4"x 2.25" local clear west coast fir (oak is also available). Our framing is done with mortise and tenon joining creating the strongest, cleanest joints possible. Hand rubbed polyurethane is applied for protection.
This attention to detail all the way through the process is why our customers find us and keep coming back for more! You can also request spar varnish for a marine quality finish that will offers the highest level of outdoor protection against the weather
