Springtime at the Chalk Shire
Greetings and Salutations to all our dear friends and followers.
It’s Springtime at the Chalk Shire. Spring is in full tilt boogie here…everything is coated with a dense layer of golden pollen from the evergreen and fruit trees. This includes my lungs as well. Ah, springtime. That said, the fruit trees are in full bloom and leafing out now, the berries are full of flowers and I am finalizing my lists of seeds to buy and plant. Dave built a sweet fence around the garden. And the rock work is going well in the flower beds. I feel like we live in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Hobbit Shire.
We have been chalking at full tilt boogie too. You may have noticed a lack of posts lately. It’s just been that busy. We have so many projects on the go, so let me fill you in on a few.
JM Family Enterprises asked us to create multiples of the original three boards we did for their employee cafeteria last year. So, 12 boards later…ta da! Super fun and yummy.
We also had a fun job doing these bubble tea restaurant boards for a cool little place down in Anaheim, California – Ten Ren Tea. Bubbles are just so fun don’t you think? I also really like the framing job that Dave did on these boards.
We have so many more wonderful projects on the go, but I will share them with you in a different post…it will have a theme…keep an eye out for it.
