The first step to design a custom chalkboard for you involves information gathering. We collect any logo files, any font styles, photos of your establishment or venue, colour schemes, and of course, content. Our skilled graphic designers build an initial layout digitally. We email the proposals to the client and make the details just right. This step of the design process is the most involved. Additionally, this stage of the process requires the most involvement from the client. The first round of drafts is typically text only.
The second step involves introducing any illustrative content you need. We draw anything on your chalkboard. This can include buildings, people, food items, design elements, animals, logos and more. We overlay the illustrations on top of the approved text. The illustrations are drawn in black and white. These are quick sketches to help the client understand composition and content.
The third step after second round approval – the boards themselves! The chalkboard design becomes something spectacular at this point. It is often challenging for a client to understand how a computer generated layout turns into the amazing chalkboard sign.
