Another example of great chalk art would be the recent chalkboard sign we did for a New Brunswick, Canada butcher shop. This image shows the butcher and his wife. We we’re given photographs and created lifelike versions of the people. This takes talent!
One of my favorite chalkboard signs we have made over the years is this one. It features Boticelli’s Birth of Venus . This chalkboard is 4 feet by 6 feet and hung in New York City at Times Square. The actual painting is in Florence, Italy. The design came from a tattoo that Guy Fieri has on his left arm. It was gift to him from a brewery owner when he opened up his Time Square Restaurant, Guy’s American Kitchen.
