I’m highlighting a recent framing job for North Fork Natural in Cutchogue, NY. I’m calling it a New York Barnboard framed chalkboard sign. All of the framing at Chalk It Up Signs is custom work, made to order, for you the customer. We have our standard frame width (2.25″), standard wood (fir) and standard finish (rub-on poly) but you can ask for anything and I’ll do it. For this frame, my wood working mentor, Brian, found an ancient, silvered and worn cedar board which framed up beautifully to give the chalkboard sign for North Fork Natural the perfect vintage barnboard look.
